New investor to RE in Mid-Michigan Area

Hello!

My wife and 2 kids and I live in the Mid- Michigan area (Bay City-Saginaw-Midland). I'm new to BP and RE investing, have some $ to invest and am creating my plan.

Looking to devote my ample time to quickly building a portfolio of rentals (MF?) and have solid experience in Finance (MBA) and home improvement.

I'd appreciate any advice on great partners in the Mid-Michigan area (lenders, agents, partner investors, etc) with similar interests.

This is a great site and I appreciate all the great info from both this site and contributors!

Hi Pat, I am in Midland if you ever want to meet up.   I only have 1 rental but looking for more.  Make sure you have a nice lease, have them sign paint disclosures and run their background and credit history through resident research.  That's what I did and it worked out great.
