Newbie from southern California

Just wanted to say hello to everyone.  I am a 30 something professional who is married with two kids residing in southern California. I currently own a primary residence but no investment properties.  I have come to the realization that real estate is a path to wealth I want to explore.  I am in the infancy stages of my education. My goals are to provide a path to early retirement, provide a healthy retirement for my family, and ultimately create generational wealth for my kids.  What real estate vehicle I will use to get there is still out of mind but looking at options.  Thanks
