Stuck in Analysis paralysis

Yep, this is true. I'm stuck in it. I just recently got laid off so now I'm trying to get back in the game I never started. Got nothing else to do. How do I get out? I've got nothing but time on my hands. Anyone out there willing to teach? Or least let me be their shadow?
