Hello BP Community! My name is Travis Murphy and I am born and raised in the Muncie, Indiana (Delaware County) area. I attended and graduated from Delta High School and Ball State University. I hold a Pre-Law Degree (History Major/Political Science Minor). I choose not to go to Law School and instead have been working at a regional bank in the commercial loan documentation unit for about four years. While this has given me a lot of background experience on the lending side of real estate it has been a very high stress low reward job. I never even thought of being able to dive into the real estate field myself. However, I stumbled upon the BP podcast at work one day and I knew I found something valuable. As I continued to listen to podcasts and start getting some of the books I really started to eat it up. Especially with Rich Dad Poor Dad. I read it cover to cover in one day and I even worked eight hours that day! I just couldn't put it down because it was changing my life as I read it. I am now excited about what I can do with my life and I don't have to live a life based on fear or disappointment. I want to provide myself and possibly a future family with the lifestyle and happiness that my parents provided me. And I want it to be my failures, my successes, and my adventure.

I look forward to participating in this community as I believe that we all have something in common when we want to provide a better future for ourselves, our families, and for others in general.
