Hey everyone,

I am a newbie from the midwest, born and raised in the Fargo, ND area. I was made aware of this awesome cite after I picked up, and started reading The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner.

I'm currently in my mid 20s, and work full time as a Mortgage Loan Officer at a community bank, dealing with mostly conventional, FHA, VA loan types. After helping so many finance/refinance their own homes, I decided to do a little more research myself on how I wanted to start my own real estate investing journey. I've been weighing the pros and cons of buying a fixer upper, or 2 unit "house hack" for my first home purchase, which is what led me to do some more research. I love listening to audio books when I drive, and thought Brandon's book on rental properties would be a great way to pick up on some needed knowledge. Little did I know that I would find this awesome resource!

I get extremely excited when listening to other's stories, and absolutely love what I do as a lender. I'm looking to use this cite to continue to learn from others as I start my own journey, and possibly meet others in my community who share similar interests. I also hope I can jump into other conversations to offer my own experience as a lender by offering creative tips and tricks to help some people here with what to look for, and what questions to ask their lenders when financing a home purchases, or refinances.

I'm excited to see where my future brings me, and hope this cite is the first step on a long, prosperous journey!
