Newbie in Colorado

Hello everyone,

Just joined after cruising the site for about a week, thought it was time to get off my duff and just jump on board like so many others. This site rocks!! A one stop real estate investor shop and then some.

As a part time real estate investor I finally jumped and purchased two homes in July of 2009. If I only knew then what I have read so far I would have made it a better deal, but I guess we all started somewhere and I'm ready to do more.

I'm a former Marine, currently employed law enforcement and volunteer fire figther. So talking to people and finding solutions is not an issue.

My goals are to find fix and flips and sell them quickly to build enough reserves to purchase some buy and hold homes. I'm interested in learning more about short sales and wholesales and anything else the site has to offer.

I know Colorado Springs, El Paso and Elbert County pretty well so give me a shout I'll give you my two cents.
