New Investor - Houston

Hey all, I'm a complete newbie looking to learn about buying investment properties to rent or eventually flip in the Houston market. I bought my personal residence last year and have found a property I'm interested in purchasing. Could anyone point me to where I can find information on the BiggerPockets website about buying your first investment property? My main question is how much would I need to put down? I did reach out to my previous lender but wanted to get thought and advice here as well. Thanks in advance.
