Hi all,

My name is Jacob and I am a wanna-be real estate investor. I'm an engineer living in Silver Spring, MD (20910) & working at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD. My goal is build up passive income while working full-time using the BRRR method. Ultimately, I'd like to get to a point where my rental properties are cash flowing $4000/month to support my family so I can quit my day job.. So that's where I'd like to be but here's where I'm at:

• 27 years old, married & no kids (at the moment)
• Non-home owner
• Full-time 40/week job with few responsibilities outside working hours
• Little to no experience in home renovations (been studying up quite a bit but have yet to get out there and put hammer to nail)
• Reliable, hard-working and trustworthy

At the moment, I'm not looking to invest my money into any properties. I'd like to learn a whole lot more before I start investing.

I'm looking to make connections with anyone from experienced investors to newbies. You could be someone who's done many deals or you could be someone with little experience. Either way, I want to learn from you or learn with you.

I don't have much to offer in experience but what I do have is time. Need some help tiling a bathroom, analyzing deals, installing lights, building a fence, etc.. I can help! I have transportation and can get anywhere within ~50 mi radius of 20910. I'm especially interested in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Washington D.C., Takoma Park, & Greenbelt or 20810, 20912, 20706.
