Newbie from paradise (Charleston, SC)

Hey everyone!

I heard about Bigger Pockets on an old episode of The Investors Podcast when they interviewed Joshua Dorkin. So glad I did. While I'm a software designer by day, I'm planning on investing in real estate in the next couple of years with my girlfriend (soon to be fiancee) so I'm trying to learn as much as I can while I save up the investment capital. Living in Charleston, SC, there seems like a ton of opportunity to buy condos to rent, AirBNB, or flip.

I'd also like to know, are there any forum members here who have made a career of real estate investing without a college degree?

Thanks for having me, I can't wait to learn as much as possible.

Paul
