Good morning from Northern Texas

My name is Dillon Barnhart, and I just recently stumbled onto the BP community.

A little bit about myself, I grew up in Northern California, but have been in the military for the last eight years and done my fair share of traveling around. Landed in the Texoma area about a year ago and had been saving up some money with no real goal in sight. Talked business with a couple friends and family, but everyone seems to be in their 'comfort zone' so nothing ever really panned out. That's when I decided to look into the local real estate market and try to get my money to work for me.

So, picked up a home for just under 80k and got my first tenants within a week of closing. Margins seem pretty great from what I've been able to surmise, and plan to pick up another home within the next year.

Having said that, I joined BP to broaden my horizon and hopefully get some more valuable knowledge and insight along the way, so that I too can be of reputable service to others in the future. Hello, everyone!
