New to forum and real estate

I'm a new member so I wanted to say hello. I fortunately found this site just after attending a real estate seminar. You guys already saved me money, thanks. A friend and I are looking into real estate. He is a licensed contractor and HVAC tech. I know how to hand him tools and write checks, sounds perfect right. I have already read a few articles and the information provided here seems that it will be invaluable. I will try to do as much reading as I can before bothering anyone with questions. Thank you to everybody who has provided all of this information.
