New and Learning, Graceville FL (NW Florida)

Hello. My name is Cris and I'm in the learning stage of this process. I'm in my 30s with two teenagers and a husband. My mother also lives with us.

My goal is to keep building my monthly income with my websites, then invest in single family homes with the occasional multifamily property.

I do not have professional experience with rehabbing or renovations, but my husband does. A decade or so before we met it was his job to go in and fix things up. He's knowledgeable in about every aspect but his chronic illness and ailments have stopped him from being as active.

I want to learn + I want him to be the one to teach me. We make a good team. I already help with general maintenance of the property, including home/auto/small engine stuff.

I enjoy those types of projects and so does he. If his health declines before we're able to attempt something like this, that's fine - I'll still do it. Right now my focus is on finding deals, coming up with estimates, plans of action, etc.

Most everything RE-related is done in my off time because my focus does have to be with the family and business first. A goal is to have RE a part of that normal day, too.

Thanks to everyone who posts here. I've already learned a lot and look forward to learning more.
