Hello all, I'm glad to have found this resource, forums have helped me do many things in the past and being very new to real estate investing, it's wonderful that there are so many helpful folks with so much experience willing to aid each other!

I hope to also be able to contribute in the future, I'm new to it now but intend to keep going. I own a small green building business currently, and have done many remodels/additions/ground up constructions in my so far young life (I'm 32), and am turning to REI, at least getting my toes wet currently, as a way to make a change, and do something I've wanted to do for a long time. I'd like to buy, fix, and flip; as well as buy raw land and build spec.

I have many questions to start, and am diving into research so that I know how to ask them, but the main one that I'm hoping to be pointed to from the get go is how to manage doing REI with my partner. Can someone point me towards a resource that has helpful input on embarking into investing with you significant other? It must be a theme around here :)

Thank you all!

-Nick

Welcome to the community. You we going to do this with you partner? You both should be networking and building you go to team. Finance, realtors, contractors etc. see if you can research a local meet up in your area and an investment club.
