Still wet behind the ears

'Allo all,

I'm quite new to real estate, in general. I recently took on a job as a bookkeeper for a growing company and I'm desparate for resources! Mostly, I'm trying to get opinions/experiences from others who have been involved in residential development through LLCs in Chicago. Also, if there's ANYONE at all that has a solid system for complying with 2000 Bookkeping Requirements and methods of filing/retrieving records, please share your knowledge with me. I look forward to hearing from any and all interested parties.
I feel that biggerpockets.com is going to be an invaluable resource for me.
Thanx

Arow
