Multi-Family & SFH Investor in Kansas City & Smart Device Expert

Hi Everyone,

My name is Justin Christian. I just started looking into real-estate investing and am trying to learn as much as I can as fast as possible. I'm from the Kansas City area and work as a web application developer and video producer for a smart apartment property management startup in Kansas City.

After sitting down and interviewing real-estate experts for my work, I quickly became interested in real-estate investing. 

I'm currently looking for my first investment property. I'm interested, from greatest interest to least, in Loft Spaces, Duplexes, Triplexes, Fourplexes and Single Family Homes. For my first investment, I'm trying to find a property that would be a good buy-and-hold investment that I can renovate into a smart apartment. I see a lot of potential in bringing real-estate into the 21st century and so that's the path I hope to embark down on my real-estate investor journey.

I've been able to find a couple prospects in the last month, but am hesitant to pull the trigger because I didn't know enough about the market. I'm happy I came across this community, because I have learned so much and am starting to feel more confident in analyzing deal. I look forward to learning more from the community and helping where I can.
