Hello All,

My name is Bernie, I'm 25 and live in NJ (15mins from NYC) I'm just starting to get my feet wet and looking to purchase my first property. I have read about 6 books on R.E. Investing.

I'm more focused on Foreclosures, & Multi-Families & Rehabs (fixer-uppers) I can come up wit the capital but am finding a hard time finding a good property for the right price.

My father is in the construction field so I'll be getting help from him fixing up houses. His boss buys alot of properties fixes them up and re-sells them and is very successful, but he is focused more on the construction business than an investor.

I'm glad I found this website and plan to read up on older posts to be more knowledgeable. Maybe someone can come to the rescue :superman: and point me in the right direction.
