New User Introduction!

Hi everyone!

My name is Mark Halecki and I got interested in REI probably around the beginning of 2017 when I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, a book I'm sure many of you are familiar with. Since then I've spent a bit of time listening to some of the BP podcasts from the beginning, and reading some of the books mentioned in the podcasts, my favorite being The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss. I'm an extreme beginner at this point, but I am very interested in rental properties and maybe even flipping, and I am excited to learn more about everything.

Just some information about me, I'm currently 21, and I am about to graduate from The University at Buffalo with a BS in mechanical engineering in May, but the rest of the time I live in Rochester. I love to watch and play all sports, big into hockey (go Sabres!) and football (no need to mention the Bills.) I also enjoy to cook and bake, exercise from all the cooking and baking, and trying to learn new languages, French and Italian are on the list for now.

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, I am glad to be in such a helpful community and I look forward to learning more and hopefully helping other people along the way!
