new to real estate investing charlotte nc

hi there I'm new to investing and looking for as much info as i can get.  i currently work the 9-5 type job and looking to get out and gain some freedom. I've spent 20+ years in the construction business both as an employee and general contractor. Now i am looking to get back into it but from a different perspective. I'm currently living in the Charlotte NC area. I am looking to start out with a couple flips then move on to rentals to earn some passive income any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
