Brand New to Real Estate

Hi everyone, My name is Matt and I am 21 years old. I am currently serving in the military and plan on finishing up my tour soon. I am very interested in real estate investing as a long term retirement option/possible future career. I know nothing about real estate, but am eager and excited to learn. I am currently listening to the BiggerPockets podcast as well as reading books on the topic to widen my understanding. After I finish with the military I plan on attending law school, where I hope to jump start a new career. At this stage in my life I have very little money to invest and plan on learning the ropes of real estate as much as I can before making an major decisions. Any advice on books to read or other ways to expand my horizons within the scope of real estate investment?
