I tried to post an introduction last night but not sure why it hasn't posted. Im new to BP and I've enjoyed reading your post. I'm particularly interested in investing in small multi family units and eager to learn more about investing in real estate. My background is in Accounting; I want to buy and hold real estate long term for the cash flow. Have a great day everyone! Charles Bantom

Hello Vee and thank you for the welcome to BP. I'm not quite sure actually where I'll invest but I'm particularly interested in multi-family (2to 4 )units. The market rates for multifamily seem comparable to SFR. I'm looking for a duplex below market rates; one in good condition. I'm too inexperienced to invest inside the City of Detroit so I'm looking at many communities around Detroit. Also, I'm originally from Detroit; I grew up here.
The socio-economics of Detroit requires a certain risk tolerance and investment experience.
