Newbie from Lawrenceville Gwinnet GA

Greetings BP community,

I am Edison Chuquiralao. I live in Lawrenceville GA; about 40 minutes from the Atlanta metro area (multiply that time by 3 for traffic at peak hours). I am new to real estate investing. I am a structural engineer (working on my licenses at the moment) with experience in concrete, masonry, steel and wood construction. I really enjoy what I do and I hope I can I value to the community

In an effort to build wealth for my family and loved ones, few months ago I stumble with the Ultimate beginner’s guide to real estate investing and ever since I have been lurking in the shadows in an attempt to absorb as much knowledge as I can. I’ve gone through the BP podcast and read a few of the most recommended books, however, one can only learn so much this way and I feel that I need to take action in order to cement whatever little bit that I’ve assimilated and be able to build upon it.

My plan for the moment is to use the BRRRR strategy, so I am interested in acquiring off marked properties with some level of distress where I can add value. At the moment I've been focusing my search in the Lawrenceville and Snellville area and I would like to get in contact with other investors, investors friendly agents, brokers, lenders, property managers, and, other real estate professionals doing business around this area (Gwinnett, GA).

As mentioned above, I hope I can add value to the community and to all those individuals I connect with and thanks for taking the time to read this post.
