What did I get myself into?

Hello everyone.

I am new to RE investing. I have purchased and sold a few homes for my own residence in the past.  I turned one into a rental in the past, but was bleeding due to high cost of property tax and insurance.  That home was not originally purchased as a rental.  My interests with RE are rehab for short term goal, and rentals for long term goal.  Wholesaling is also an option. I am working in the Huntsville/Madison Alabama area.

I have been pumped after reading, and watching a lot of podcasts about passive income potential, and rehabs too.

Last week, I acquired two adjacent properties.  One is a duplex, and one single family.  The duplex has tenants, and that will cover for the mortgage, tax, and insurance.  The latter require work...  Once rented, should put me in a pretty good position.

Wish me luck.

Thank you.
