My name is Marvita Brown and I live in Prince George's County in the Washington D.C. metro area. As my subject states, I am new to real estate. I've ordered many products on the subject and taken several classes. With all of the incentives available for homebuyers today, not to mention the best buyers' market I can remember in my lifetime (and I'm not a youngster), I think it is a great time to be in this space.
My partner and I plan to start by finding JV partners to do some deals with so that we can build our cash flow to the point where we can go it alone on some deals. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Marvita! I am from Pennsylvania (currently live near Philly) and I'm also fairly new to real estate. I've been studying and trying to move forward with my business for about a year and a half now and finally making progress.

A tip I have for you is to stick with it and don't let anything stand in your way of success. The whole on and off thing is what's taking me so long to actually get some deals done so do whatever you can to keep things from slipping backwards.
