New to Real Estate Investing in Michigan

Hi there everyone!

My name is Sarah Robinson and I currently live in Waterford, Michigan. I am brand new to Real Estate Investing and I am just beginning the research phase of this journey. I have read through Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and I am currently working my way through The ABC's of Real Estate Investing. I came across Bigger Pockets via youtube only a few days ago and have since been eating up their podcasts and have gone through half of Brandon's book... 

I currently work in online retail and have owned my own business as a sole proprietor for almost 4 years. I do enjoy my work, but I am looking to use my previous business experience to pursue real estate investing now that my husband is out of school. I have a bachelor's degree in economics, which I hope to put to good use in the coming years. 

If you have made it through my entire post, thanks for reading! I hope to get to know lots of Bigger Pockets members in the coming months and years and I look forward to learning as much as I can.

I’ve been in the property business a long time and owned a bunch of properties. However I’ve never met such a vast group of investors that want you to succeed, love to share their knowledge and mistakes all in one place - here on Bigger Pockets. 

I do caution you though, you should be prepared with the anti-BP-addiction serum because after just a short while reading BP is all you’ll want to do!
