New Investor in the Chicago and NW Suburban area!

Hello BP Community! I am fairly new to the real estate investing world and I am looking to get started with working on a few fix and flip deals first. I've been doing a lot of research which include attending local REIAs, listening to the BP podcast as well as utilizing the sites blogs and books. Now that I've done my fair amount or research and information gathering I'm ready to actually start working on deals. I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I've been in the mortgage business for about 2 years now as a mortgage banker and I'm eager to start investing. If anyone is looking to network I'd be more than happy to connect!
