I am new to the site, and really, new to the idea of real estate investing. About a year ago, I inherited some money, and instead of traveling with it (which still nags at me), I bought a four unit apartment complex in foreclosure in Cap Hill.

I would love to do it again, however, I'm unemployed and I can't get a loan. My industry (engineering) has been hit hard by the economy and since nobody is building anything new, nobody is hiring.

I don't have much cash since I have to plan on being unemployed for a while, but I do have motivation, intelligence, and a whole lot of time. Anyone have any ideas for me? Anyone have any use for a young, smart, driven, professional in their investing life? Anyone want a mentee?

I look forward to becoming a part of the Denver real estate world.

~Steven
