Newbie investor-to-be in Columbia, SC

Hi, I'm new and have been quietly reading the blogs and listening to the podcasts since December, when I was first turned on to the possibility of making big changes in my life through real estate.

I am in Columbia, SC and am very excited about opportunities here as a buy-and-hold investor. I just attended my first REIA meeting the other night and look forward to meeting others in the Midlands region and here on the BP forums. My simple goal for 2017 is to buy one SFH (I already have one as my primary residence) using the BRR(R)R strategy and become a full-fledged investor. For the time being, I am getting educated and meeting people. I am very excited about what the future holds, and this is where it all starts!
