Hello From a Canadian! :)
Hi everyone!
I'm Tan, a junior college student interning in San Francisco. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada and moved to Waterloo, Ontario to study computer science. From now until Winter 2019 I'll be hopping back and forth between Waterloo and the States doing school and internships.
The BP podcasts have kept me company every day on the BART for weeks - I'm trying to catch up on the years of awesome content. Really love the community here - super excited!
I don't have any experience in real estate, but I will study up from now until graduation. I might not be fully diving into this right now and coming out of college with 5 houses like Kenny Estes, but I'm definitely here for the long run.

Smartest move on your part, assuming investing will be a major plan for your future, is to be selective when deciding where to settle when you graduate. Assuming you can relocate anywhere choose where investing is the most lucrative. I would choose the US market but defiantly not CA and someplace where there is no winter.. Plenty of good investment areas in the US and most are more affordable and far less pro tenant than Canada.
