New Member & Investor in Springfield, Missouri

Hello Everyone! I am excited to be apart of Bigger Pockets with such a great community of like-minded individuals. I am a full-time college student and I have been doing (or attempting) to invest in real estate on the side. I first learned about REI about 3 months ago when I was playing football at the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota. I had a change of heart due to circumstance and I transferred here to Springfield.

I have been gaining traction in wholesaling and I jumped right into it after about a month and a half of research. I've had just 3 possible deals that I thought were going somewhere, but after more analysis, I had to let them go because they weren't going to work out. I'm originally from the St. Louis area but I moved for school this past month and Ive had trouble gaining traction here in Springfield. 

I'm hoping to learn even more than I already have from Bigger pockets! It would be nice to connect with more investors and individuals in the Springfield, MO area. Also, I would highly benefit from working with a mentor or anyone who could provide some guidance. I am determined to succeed in various aspects of REI aside from wholesaling.
