Morning folks with Bigger Pockets, my name is Drew and I live in New York, NY. I found this forum through the BiggerPockets podcast while I was trying to educate myself on what to do with my current property.

Currently I own a 2-famliy multi-family that I purchased to live in while renting out the other unit. Quite a few things happened right after purchasing, e.g. getting married, moving to DC/VA area and then moving to NYC after 2.5 years later.

Long term I would like to acquire one or more rentals for the purposes of gaining some passive income. I have learned a lot over the years and made some mistakes but I hope to do better with this property and get it cash flowing positive.

Most of my questions and future posts will be around forming an LLC, hiring and evaluating contractors, investment strategy with current property unit as well as to becoming more intimate with real estate math/spreadsheets.

Looking forward to interacting.
