Hi Everyone,

My name is Zack and live in the Baltimore area. I found BP recently and have been listening to all the podcasts and reading many of the forum posts.

I do not have a lot of background on real estate investing however growing up I would help my step father with different investment properties when he was rehabbing to flip or rent out. I knew I wanted to get into real estate investing at some point so when I graduated from Towson University in 2014 with a Finance degree I bought a half of duplex in Baltimore. At the time I bought my house I did not know about the 1-2% rule but my house luckily falls between that for when I go to rent it out next year.

My goals are to start with my first investment property this year as a buy and hold in the Baltimore County and Baltimore City area along with Washington/Frederick county area as I will be moving back there later part of 2018. I would like to buy into a Duplex/Triplex but would have to be in the Hagerstown area as Baltimore there are not many in my price range.

I found a real estate investing meeting coming up on February 15th in Columbia, Maryland that I plan on attending to start meeting investors in the area.

I look forward to meeting people to continue to grow my network and learn more about real estate investing.

Thanks you,

Zack Clopper
