Hello all,

I am an investor based in Sydney looking to expand network and invest internationally one day. Please let me know if you are near Sydney or know of some local investor communities I can join. I will be sure to proactively share information and learn from the veterans.

Name:

Bill Zhou

Current Occupations:

Bach. Civil Engineering student @ University of Sydney (4/5 years)

Bach. Design in Architecture student @ University of Sydney (4/5 years)

Building Cadet @ Strongbuild Commercial (1/? years)

Part time investor

Past Project:

P001: (50% ownership in project) bought a piece of land with $58,000 and sold for 40% profit 1 year later. (no cashflow generated, no forced appreciation improvements made).

P002: (no ownership, helping out father's projects) constructed fencing, painted exterior, designed Granny flat (secondary dwelling) and prepared documents required from approval. Generated over $5,000 in value.

More to come.

Skills:

Appraising: 0/10

Accounting: 4/10

Cost Estimating: 4/10

Property Management: 3/10

Designing: 8/10

Project Management: 7/10

Social: 7/10

Experiences:

Wholesale: 0/10

Fix n Flip: 0/10

Buy n Hold: 3/10 (some exposure from father)

Single Family Home: 7/10

Secondary Dwelling: 7/10

Small Multifamily: 0/10

Apartment Unit: 0/10

Apartment Building: 0/10

Commercial: 2/10 (some exposure from work)

I hope to:

- improve wholsaling skills and Fix n Hold.

- learn how to best release potential value from raw land and single family homes via renovation, new construction and more

- discover similarities between american market and my local market in hope of applying some of the multifamily cashflowing techniques learned from BP (market value in my local area is around $700,000 for single family home which is too high to cashflow as is.)

- save up enough for the downpayment of a cashflowing property

.

- explore international loan options to help bring quality loan packages to local home buyers

and more

Please come say Hi, especially if you live in the Sydney area. I would love to meet like minded investor on a regular basis.

Welcome to the forum mate

It's always great seeing fellow Aussie's on here.

Don't jump into any US investments and spend the time conducting more due diligence on people rather than the stats/demographics.

Much success
