My introduction to your group

I think I got this backwards as I wrote my first post and now I am introducing myself. I am an insurance agent with a huge passion for all things canine.   What originally was a research paper for the insurance policy has become a standalone canine liability policy which can be purchased on line in about 15 minutes or less.  The policy has no deductible, covers if the dog scratches, nips, bites, causes a fall to both humans and other animals.  You company can be added as an additional insured to provide coverage if an insured dog causes an injury on your property.

I have been an agent since 1986 I have a bachelors degree in Risk Management and Insurance from FSU 1980.  I then continued my education by passing the requirements to become a CPCU "Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter"  There are fewer than 25000 of us in the world, the designation is considered to be the most prestigious in our industry.  Hence the reason for the research paper, which was started in an effort to explain to insurance companies that they are not underwriting  properly to reduce claims caused by canines. .  The policy was brought to market about 5 years ago and the losses have been such that we recently took a 20% rate decrease.

In my free time I love having all 4 of girls, fur babies,  in my lap or out watching them run in the yard.   In Florida you can't let little dogs out without supervision due to hawks, gators, snakes or other predatory animals. It is a jungle down here.

If I can ever assist you with canine related insurance issues feel free to contact me.
