The challenge of renting to tenants with canines.

The canine population continues to grow with no end in site.   Unfortunately many of the owners of those dogs rent but it is vertically Impossible for them to find housing.   A study completed by Firepaw org shows that having tenants in your property can actually increase your revenue.

Unfortunately everyday more landlords are learning that canine liability is no longer covered under current insurance policies.

Now there is a solution for the increased liability.  A standalone canine liability policy averaging around $300 to $400 per year in premium which can name you as an additional insured.  In the event of an incident your defense and settlement costs would be covered up to the policy limit.

There are no dog BREEDS excluded we have found that it is not the owner, it isn't breed it is most often an unusual situation that leads to a claim.  Even dogs with prior histories of injuring a person or animal are considered.

The coverage can be quoted and issued in less than 15 minutes.  If you would like information on how to become pet friendly I have a brief instruction flyer I would be happy to make available.

Should you have questions about canines on your properties please feel free to contact me.
