Beginning investor in Tallahassee FL

Hello my name is Kurt Roqueplot, I have been lurking on BP forums for about a month now, however I have been interested in Real Estate, and worked in different areas of Real Estate for many years. 

I am originally from Tallahassee Fl, where I graduated in 2009 from Florida State University with a degree in Real Estate. After college I began working in property management and eventually became leasing manager for a 780 bed apartment complex geared toward student housing. 

After that I joined the military to follow a dream of mine and have spent the last few years as an engineer with 1st Special Forces group in Ft. Lewis Washington. Now that my service is coming to an end I am going to be moving back to Tallahassee and begin my career in full time Real Estate Investing. My friend and I are partnering up and are interested in flipping single family homes to generate some capital and then building our portfolio with multi family rentals to generate passive income.  

The BP forums and podcasts have been a wealth of information and knowledge and I look forward to becoming a valued and productive member of the site.
