Hi BP, I'm an IT professional in SF Bay Area. A total real estate newbie (aside from our family's primary residence under 30 yr conventional fixed int mortgage) Currently educating myself in REI through podcasts. BP is my top daily favorite. My mantra is, "The more I have, the more I can share." Learn more, Earn more, Share and donate more! Long term goal is to have more, to be able to share more to struggling families, underprivileged youths, ... I'm currently interested in SFR and multi family rentals. Maybe, tens to hundred doors apartments rentals in the future. I'm open to learning anything REI that can gradually grow to $30k/monthly cash flow from REI. Doable, right? :-) Looking to more REI learnings and having good win-win long term connections here at BP. Thanks BP community for all the good value posts shared every day.

Hi Avel, good to have you here! I'm also an IT professional (Sr Mgr Ops) over in San Diego. I'm with you on your manta. I think author John C Maxwell has a quote like "You can't add value to others until you add value to yourself." (or Dave Ramsey lol) I can't remember and it's besides the point but it always stuck with me. 

Good luck on your endeavor! I think $30K monthly can totally be done, just be smart about the growth. =)
