Hey fellow BP'ers. My name is Matt and I am new to BP. I currently live in North Carolina but was born and raised in Lexington, KY. I am moving back in the next couple of months. I currently have two rental properties in Lexington, KY and I am always looking for the next great one. Welcome to Bigger Pockets! It's a great resource for digging into whatever you're interested in for real estate! There is also a local Lexington Real Estate group that meets once a month. The next meeting is on Jan 17. They have a Facebook page, search for Bluegrass Real Estate Investors Group and join it. It's free and is usually meet & greet\networking, but they sometimes have presenters that focus on a real estate topic. The January meeting has a speaker from the Lexington Fair Housing Council giving a presentation on Landlord Do's and Dont's. It's been a great group, and has members that are landlords, realtors, flippers, wholesalers, hard money lenders, etc. Join the group and stop by the meeting!
