FHA to fund first investment? Rookie looking for guidance.

Hi BP Community,

My name is Anthony Kontilis and I'm just getting started with real estate investing. Over the summer I graduated from college and transitioned into my first 'adult' job as a consultant for Armanino LLP. Recently, I started researching real estate investing because I know it's a fulfilling way to increase cash flow and reach financial freedom. As for funding my first purchase, I'm thinking an FHA loan is the way to go because I plan on staying in the area for a while and my credit score is near perfect. I would greatly appreciate any advice/critiques on this strategy.
