Hi everyone, I've been listening to the podcast and lurking on the sight for a while now and finally decided to introduce myself! I'm Alex, I'm from the Capital Region of NY, near Schenectady, I'm a car business guy that's always been interested in RE but never thought I had the time or money to actually get involved. I was selling cars for the past six years but recently transitioned into managing an auto repair shop which means slightly more consistent hours and a consistent pay check, woo!

Anyways, I've been slowly catching up on the podcast with @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner and have found the information invaluable. One of the latest ones I listened to that really resonated with me was show 119 with @Graham Mink and not because I grew up in a hockey family or have family in VT but when he broke down the two aspects of motivation it really clicked with me. Another show that of course I loved being a car biz guy was Grant Cardone.

I've probably said too much already but if I haven't lost you yet my goals in real estate are to begin wholesaling to build capital to get into flipping and ultimately use the income from that to build a buy and hold portfolio that will allow me to leave my day job and maintain my lifestyle. I'm planning to focus on Saratoga county, specifically Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs but I also have a passion for the greater Schenectady, Rotterdam, Glenville and Niskayuna areas. Would love to hear from some investors in my area!

I'll give that a shot Blair Knowles , I actually spend a decent amount of time in your neck of the woods with family in Shelburne and my sister going to UVM. Burlington seems to be a pretty hot market!
