Hello everyone,

I'm Korey and live in the Nashville, TN area. My wife and I plan to buy our first rental property within the first few months of 2017. I've been trying to learn as much as possible before we do which (obviously) includes listening to the podcasts and speaking to others who already have the experience. I sat down with a loan officer yesterday who had actually owned rental properties in my area and it was amazing the things I learned. I took a lot of notes.

Luckily, my mother and sister are both in the real estate business one way or another, so that will be a major asset for us.

My background couldn't be further from real estate (warehouse manager), but about 5 months ago I quit to learn a new trade. I've been building custom kitchen cabinets and furniture and I really enjoy it. I plan on combining my new talents with our future real estate purchases.

I've also been hosting a podcast for the past 7 years. I guess you could say that it's my biggest hobby. I'm really looking forward to being a part of this community and learning everything that I can. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for all the help that will be/has been given.

Korey
