New investor in Fayetteville, NC Cumberland County

I am a new investor in the NC Cumberland County area, specifically Fayetteville. I have read some good books and been to seminars on real estate. I have just gotten out of the Army and I am a student studying for Business Administration. I am working full time towards my education to being a real estate investor. I'm highly motivated to make deals and invest with other investors. I just need some help getting started from people in the area so I am looking to further network and meet new people here at Bigger Pockets. I've heard some great things about this place and I am glad to be here.
