Gerald here from Lafayette, CO. I bought my first investment property about 7 years ago. Currently getting into the Chicago market; added the first duplex there 2 months back, which seems to be going well so far. Also added a single family in KC recently, not going as well. I have moved from local investing where I could crawl under the house myself, to trusting people far away to be my eyes on the ground, creating a bunch more of those learning experiences. Have visited this site numerous times over the years to read and learn, and I'm finally signed up.
