Real estate investor from CT- investing in Kansas City

Hello everyone!

I live in CT but just bought my first real estate investment- a turn key single family home in Independence, MO. I used a turn key provider and wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome, but hey, I'm learning and I felt the most comfortable starting out that way. I'm looking to build a team in the Kansas City area- realtor, contractor, property manager, ect. I would like to find another single family home to buy and hold. I'm interested in Lee's Summit, Blue Springs and Liberty, MO. I'm looking for a turn key or minor rehab (paint, flooring, ect.) I'll consider more elaborate rehabs down the road once I have a good team established. If anyone can offer recommendations or suggestions I would appreciate it!

Kerry
