Hi All,

I'm currently an MBA student at UC Berkeley. Before graduate school, I worked in banking and also did a short internship at a land use consulting and development firm (immediately before starting school).

When I graduate I'm looking to go into real estate professionally, either working for a sponsor or in finance.

Personally, I have had some luck with real estate as a part-time "hobby" - I flipped a house in SoCal and currently have one rental (SFR). Now I'm interested in putting some of my money to work doing some infill developments on the west coast. Looking forward to learning more about the role of small-scale developers and investors and the impact they have on their communities.

Most of my classmates are interested in working for large companies (starwood, tishman, CIM etc), but I find the idea of a smaller more entrepreneurial firm to be more appealing - so I'm excited to learn more about these types of firms so I can one day (hopefully) model my own firm after one.

-Sean
