Where do I start in the investing world?

Good Evening everyone!!! I just started the RE business, meaning just completed the requirements and now about to take my state exam! I've already chosen to work with Caldwell Banker but I'm very interested in investing. I want to own factory mills and turn them into lofts apartments or small businesses. There are a few other things I would like to do such as invest in apartment complexes, own a few town homes and land. I honestly do not know where to start but I know small would make the most sense. My credit is not the greatest but good thing is I a little to no debt. I'm just trying to find ways to raise my school and build from there. I love business, networking and want to know more about investing! If anyone has advice in any of these areas please let me know, I'm all ears!!
