Optimistic Connecticut resident

Hello all, my name is Ken and I am long time lurker of the forums, but I've never actually dropped by to say hello. I am a resident of Bristol CT after buying my first house, but unfortunately I didn't go with my gut and buy a multifamily, and maybe that's ok for now. I live with my girlfriend who does pay rent, so I'm sort of house hacking right?

My goal, like I'm sure many others is to become financially free for my future family. I would consider myself a novice in real estate, but I intend to change that. Right now my focus would be on buy and hold, although I'm open to other paths as they come. I look forward to making new connections in this realm!

Ken
