New Member Lubbock Texas

Hello!  My name is Gian (said "John") Fornari I am a new member on BiggerPockets and my wife and I live in Lubbock, Texas.  Our goal is to replace our income with cash flow in the span of 10 to 15 years.  Initially we were thinking of purchasing single family homes but now we have decided to focus on multifamily properties on a buy and hold strategy.  I grew up in the D/FW area and wouldn't mind purchasing in this area or other large cities in Texas.  Currently, my wife and I are from a medical background and have our children in local school ranging from elementary to high school.  This leaves little time to spare but we feel very blessed.  I heard about this website by listening to podcasts and finding BiggerPockets.  The content here is great from a newbie view.  I look forward to utilizing this information for a long time to come.  I look forward to hearing from everyone!
