Hi Everyone!

I'm going into my senior year at the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota studying Finance and Entrepreneurial Management.

I am just getting started in Real Estate, but am slowly becoming more and more engulfed with the concepts. Unfortunately I am not very educated on the subject, yet. I don't have much spare time to do reading outside of school, so all of my knowledge has come from lurking on this site for about a month.

My short term goals include getting an internship next summer involving real estate (any tips on getting started in this would be greatly appreciated). As far as long term goals, I would like to pursue it as a profession at some point, whether in development (with a bigger company) or doing something on my own.

One thing I am concerned about is staying involved in the site. I really want to get involved and be a frequent poster, etc. Any advice on staying involved without having that great of an understanding of the industry would be greatly appreciated, as well.

look forward to meeting and talking with you on the forums!
