Hi Bigger Pockets community!

My name is Claus Legarth and I live in Laguna Beach, California.
First off, I want to express what a great platform this is! A friend of mine recommended the Bigger Pockets Podcast and I listened to the first couple of shows and found them really helpful.
Then I attended a webinar here and ultimately signed up, because I honestly think this is a great place! Thank you Brandon and Josh!!

I have been a self employed business consultant in IT for almost 20 years. However, during a sabbatical, doing some soul searching, I realized that my passion is real estate and rehabbing. So I committed myself to make a change in my professional life. I still work in IT projects but I'm determined to get deeper into real estate and eventually make the shift to quit my IT job.  

I come from a handy family and learned pretty much everything about building and renovating homes, growing up. Together with my project managing background I am able to bring budgeting and planning skills to the table as well. 

In 2004, I decided to move out of my place (to move in with friends) and became a landlord overnight. Then 7 years later, I renovated and furnished the property and started renting it out furnished, which enabled me to double the rent. When I moved to the US, a management company took over and it's on autopilot now.

Last September, I joined a powerful network of real estate investors (Fortune Builders Mastery) and since then I am on the fast track, looking to do my first flip as soon as possible.

I believe in quality networking, I believe in joint ventures and helping each other grow. So please reach out with any kind of ideas or questions!
