5 years to 1.5 million- The journey begins (Introduction)

Hi,

My name is Mayo, a London, (United Kingdom) based, mid-twenties, newbie real estate investor.

In a nutshell, I'm driven to make a significant positive difference in anything I do. I'm the guy who is usually first to step out and take a chance at something unreliastic. Professionally, I'm a qualified insurance broker, though outside of profession i'm an aspiring amateur jazz guitarist and muay thai fighter.

Let's see what comes out of this crazy real estate dream:-

Real estate goal: From scratch build a 1.5 million pound real estate portfolio in London (UK)  and England.

Timeline : within the next 5 years.

Strategy: A) Type- Multifamily units,  apartments B) Tactic- Buy and Hold, House Hacking C)Financing- Conventional mortgages, partnerships, private money

As of now I'm currently seeking mentors and experienced investors (preferably local) to bounce ideas off and possibly partner with moving forward.

I am also working on improving my ability to analyze and select good deals on a consistent basis.
